This recognition marks a significant moment for the Mums In Marketing community and its continued impact across the industry

About the Award

The Future is Female Awards are part of Advertising Week’s global programme recognising women and allies across the marketing, advertising, and technology industries.

First launched in New York in 2019, the awards are now in their sixth year in Europe, eighth year in New York, and third year in LATAM, with additional programmes previously held across Africa, Asia, and APAC.

Honourees are selected based on a combination of proven achievements, demonstrated ability to effect organisational change, commitment to external impact, mentorship of others, and professional endorsements.

The programme reflects the belief that leadership exists at all levels, not only in senior roles, and is open to both women and allies who actively support and champion women in the industry.

Industry Contribution

Claire Ferreira founded Mums In Marketing to support women navigating careers and business across marketing and the creative industries, alongside parenthood.

The community and membership provide access to peer support, training, and vacancies across employed and self-employed roles.

Since launch, MiMs has grown to support thousands globally, and also works with partners to provide specialist services, alongside recognising the contribution and importance of retaining vital talent

Claire is also active across  the industry, from advisory roles and award panels to speaking engagements and bespoke consulting on community growth and supporting mothers.
